Page 7 of a comic adaptation I drew from "The Hall of the Bright Carvings", the first chapter of Mervyn Peake's novel "Titus Groan" and the first book of the Gormenghast trilogy.

I'd found a second-hand copy of a French-language version of the book when I was studying in Brussels and it gave me the idea of adapting it for my Comics class, which was French-speaking. I've finally translated it back into English here.
