Yes, I know another mermaid but they seem to be the favorite of commissions...and I don't mind doing them hehehe
She turned out SUPER cute and I just adore how expressive her eyes are. The customer opted for black lashes which I dont generally do for lighter hair colored dolls but WOW she made an awesome decision. The final result is beauty-ful
*Base doll is a DDG Lagoona

The legs are modified (meaning the lower half is removed) then I use air dry clay to create the tail... Paint and then embellish..

I agree, the factory makeup to me is over done for what's suppose to be 15-16 year olds in high school.
I love all their Dead Tired makeup though except Abbey's hers is still heavy.
The face up done here was requested by the customer. I give full credit to them for the way she turned out ^_^

The customer commissioned this one for $120 +shipping. She actually bought it for her daughter who is a doll collector. I am currently in talks with a 2nd one for her ^_^

I know, sometimes its hard for me to even believe I created it myself. 
And I am a mom of 3 so I don't get a lot of time to work on my pieces. This one took about 2 weeks (not working on it everyday).

HAHA nooo, I have a special place in my bedroom where I work on my dolls. My youngest is only 17 months old so I'm busy and the only chance I get to work on dolls is during nap time which only lasts about 1-2 hours. Then by their & my bedtime I'm worn down and ready to sleep. My weekly work hours will only be 4-6 hours a. SO not really a lot of time to stop and film or take pictures of what I am doing. I work like I have no time, I hope that makes sense.

Completely! If you were filming one of your children might say, "Mom why are you talking to yourself???" But you make so many dolls so I normally would think you have a lot of time but you dont so yeah

Yes but Amelia's ears are different...but I still think it would be an amazing thing to try. You could even do your special eyes with cat slits. So cool!
