Description Is it getting a little too hot in here or what?

Had some more fun in Apo with feathery textures and color scale gradients. This is the result. Not exactly where I'd want to be, but I hear you can get a great tan? Okay, I really need more sleep!

Enjoy and thanks for viewing!

Rendered in Apophysis 2.04b. All other works done in Adobe CS-2.

Fire and Brimstone! Wonderful texture, rock-solid gradient and very well crafted. I'm jealouse!

Thank you so very much! I really like how this piece turned out, too. The results I get in Apo never cease to amaze me. Thank you also, for your feedback, most appreciated!

I know - Apo is such a powerful application when it comes down to it. The best is when everything just comes together and forms a great flame from what used to be a couple of colored dots/lines/swirls.

Happy fractallin'

Lol, thanks very much! I have found that I like Apo the best out of all the fractal generators thus far. Thanks again, for the feedback!

Apo is your favorite, huh? That's cool - I like it so far (it's also my first though). Do you like it more than Ultra Fractal too? I keep hearing UF is the "end-all be-all" fractal making program.

So far? Yes. I like it because I seem to have greater control in that program than any other I've tried thus far. As for UF, the first few times I tried it, I didn't care for the results, but of course, that may also come with practice. I admire those that can manipulate that program. But for me, it's 'good ole' Apo!

Me too (so far) - I'm going to try to master Apo andf only then get UF. Apo's flames are very different in comparison with any other fractal program (and the best part is it's free). Eventually though I'll shoot for the "traditional" fractal look and spring for UF

Mm, maybe when I'm better at fractals, I'll try UF again, until then...I'm simply an admirer of those that can work it well!
