Ahah nah, I stopped liking Fluttershy after she tore into Pinkie + Rarity in Putting Your Hoof Down. I got over it... eventually.

It'd take something pretty incredible to make Pinkie not be best pony, let alone worst.

Pinkie does have her faults, just as they all do.

I've actually always been a little annoyed with Putting Your Hoof Down because to be honest, that was very out of character for Fluttershy. The whole thing was extremely forced and contrived for the sake of contrast against her normal personality, which is something the first season (rightfully) avoided nicely. Fluttershy was already assertive when she needed to be, but she was tender by default. It's hard to imagine someone as empathetic as her resorting to insults against those she cares about for no apparent reason. That's just crazy talk, hence her dramatic reaction to it, I suppose.

So for me, I certainly don't like Fluttershy any less because of what is essentially a fluke episode. My ire is directed only against those characters with consistently obnoxious personalities... who oddly enough each have their own large followings.
