Hah! I don't know about that. However, there are lots of different kinds of artists in Iceland (We're mostly known for musicians (Bjork, Sigur Ros, Of Monsters and Men, Kaleo). Not that many illustrators though, although there are some, including me!

This is beautiful! I love the perspective and the excitement of the children, and the town with Hallgrímskirkja in the background... It captures the vibrancy of Iceland. I'm sorry you didn't win the contest. I think you should have!
