Description
Rhamphosuchus is one of the largest crocodilians that have ever existed.It lived during the miocene period in what is now Pakistan.The giant crocodilian was with out a doubt one of the longest crocodilians if not the longest competing with the filter feeder caiman crocodilian Mourasuchus at 11 m in length though just like a lot of prehistoric crocodilians it's weight remains unknown.It is said that Rhamphosuchus would have had more of a predatory diet unlike the piscivory diet of most other tomistomines.Rhamphosuchus still remains as one big mystery due to the fact that only teeth and jaw parts of the creature have been found though hopefully in the future we will get more information on Rhamphosuchus.
