tried a little 'Mike Mignola-style' (whom you should know at least from the comic 'Hellboy') here... hard b/w-contrasts and a more ink-like look than some kind of photorealism or concept art-style... was fun to create it... surprisingly it reminds me also of the painting 'Great Red Dragon' by William Blake... an artist, which I admire much...Related content

Hah, this definitely has some Great Red Dragon vibe to it. The fact that we can't see it in it's entirety adds mystery and horror to it, and that long tail is a great touch to fill the space in a very effective way. Fierce creature, I like it a lot. Definite fav.
