That's some cutting-egde work right here if you know what i mean. If it's sharp enough to slice a tomato in half than it's a solid piece of artwork. I get alot of peterku's fancy sic-fi artwork. I like him! He has the best laser weapons in his art gallery. His collection of guns are cool enough to be in a space intergalactic film filled with aliens and spaceships. The Knife picture is a well articulated piece of art. If i added 95% of his laser guns into my faves, there's no way that i will criticize this! Well Done!!!

The work is awesome, just like the very most of your's.
Just one correction - that's not a machete, that's kopis.

Only thing I think it's missing is a jagged edge on the back of the blade in any length/amount for survival purposes. As is it only serves as a weapon, (and bottle opener. Least that's what I thought was sticking out of the hilt), and if that was what you were going for then I have nothing bad to say

You've never used a machete before, have you? Just a weapon? You don't need a serrated edge with the amount of cutting power one gives you. Just keep the blade sharp, and it'll do everything you need it to.Β

well, just lenghten it and use a template for the right blade/handle ratio.

I found it hard to realise the shape of the grip on the handle. Can I suggest more contrasting colours?

what colour scheme you would suggest. I ask for inspirations.Β

KlausTeufel In reply to peterku [2015-07-27 12:36:35 +0000 UTC]

Chocolate brown or black for the grip, with a black hilt. A black grip could also go with a gold, bronze, or silver hilt.

Looks amazing, I mean look at that point, but I wonder if there might be a more combat-oriented version? I was thinking that if it had a "Cold Steel Chaos" style handle and pommel, and a 2/3 length secondary edge. That would look goddamn phenominal.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

peterku In reply to Railburner [2015-07-26 12:55:45 +0000 UTC]

I just check that cold steel chaos style handle and it looks both. Cool and dangerous. Iprobably will use it later in some concept.Β
