Description It's my first attempt at an anime/manga drawing so mistakes are to be expected.
Samurai champloo is one of my favourite animes and Mugen my favourite charakter from that show. I will eventually redraw this one so no worries if you don't like it.

I won't draw them on A4 papers anymore though, because as it turns out I'm way to impatient for that -.-
I migh add some colours to future draiwings too, and I'll definately turn up the kontrast.

This also won't be a regular thing as my pokemon drawings (sort of ) are. I will upload one of these maybe once a month, probably once every two months though, since I'm still pretty unfimiliar with drawing anime/manga.

So yeah, hope you like it.

Pokemon is just one of the things I do after all, it's just that the project I chose to do is pretty big.
And I'm planing on doing more manga art in the future once I have the time for it.

Also what are you using for these exactly? Pen or ink?

I always thought you did pencil drawings, but the deep black makes me realize that can't be it ..

Thank you, I appreciate it. Looking at your characters though I realized that something is missing in this, which is why next time I'll try to work with colours.

And you're partially right about the ink. Usually I use black ballpoint pen (as far as my pokemon drawings go) and I did it this time aswell, but the hair and his name are both made with black ink. I'll experiment a little more with that I think, so that if working with colours will be too much of a hassle I'll have something besides ballpoint pen to fall back on.

Yeah that sounds pretty good Personally looking at your drawings I realize how much I'm struggling with the sense of motion, so I'll force myself to sketch a couple of drawings with that in mind I suppose XD

You should look up "samurai champloo" sometime, it's a great anime (if you're ok with some violent swordfights that is, but it's not just mindless gory crap don't worry) ;]

the arm holding the sword seems somewhat smaller then the other, i'd make it somewhat onger other then that it's very good and in proportion. plus aa bonus point for adding a background and since it's your first atempt i'd say it shows how skilled you are
