Sadie is the main character of Left (well- unless I change my mind)

She was a house cat before the whole alien thing and loses her tail when she wanders into a field (probably looking for food) and one of the aliens tears it off.
Sadie is younger than a lot of the other animals in the group. She meets three cats in the group that become her friends, Fidget, Shorty, and Skippy.
