Do you know the copyright laws for these? Are you allowed to sell these without getting in trouble? I'm not calling you out on anything. I want to know because I'm trying to start a business selling mlp things like this. Thank you!

Currently on Etsy there's over 10,000 listings that can be found when searching "my little pony". Technically no one should be selling any form of art or merchandise that has the copyright without permission, (unless it's political or satire, but American laws are free to interpretation and therefore no one can be 100% that they're in the clear).
However, Hasbro knows that if it files cease and desist over all the small-time artists, it would not only be a waste of paid man hours, but also cause major PR problems with money throwing bronies. I believe their unofficial opinion on the matter is that as long as the stockholders don't care and the artists don't bring too much attention to themselves then they aren't going to do anything about it. Considering how many people became bronies only after seeing fan made videos/art and then started spending money on official pony merchandise, it could even be seen as helpful free advertising for the corporation. I wouldn't be surprised if some of the newer MLP official plushes that are being released later this year are based off of some of the higher quality fan ones.
So in short, you could get in trouble, but it's highly unlikely. Worst comes to worst, a cease and desist is a warning and won't harm you, so if you get one just stop what you're doing and move on to non-Hasbro works.
