Description In Morte D'Arthur, Morgana or Morgan Le Fey was the evil half sister of Arthur who attempted to destroy him repeatedly. I prefer to think of her in terms of the movie, "Mists of Avalon." Perhaps she wasn't evil, so much as misguided and too trusting of those around her. In the middle ages, women were chattel, useful only to their husbands, brothers and fathers and other males by the alliances and dowries they brought to their marriages when they came of age. In some instances, women were even considered evil, the priests preaching from their pulpits that women were the cause of the "Original Sin" because of Eve tempting Adam with the apple. In this new day and age, women are considered the equal of men. Morgana has always represented, to me, a woman before her time, unwilling to accept her "place" in a man's world and be content. She was a strong woman in literature, no matter which side of the good vs. evil fight she might have been on and a very interesting character. I still feel as if something is missing, so, if anyone has any ideas, just let me know. Because of the strength Morgana represents, this piece is dedicated to my good friend, Apryl. You're stronger than you think, chick. Hang in there.

nice work here i love what you've done with my castle. i have one teeny suggestion, you're Morgaine (i think of her in terms of Mists of Avalon as well ) appears to be floating because she is casting no shadow. there should be a shadow where she and the ground meet.

Thank you. I suck at lighting. For some reason I can never get it quite the way it's supposed to be. I just don't have an eye for it I guess. And thanks for the great stock btw.
