I keep thinking about Chara lately, idk. I've not got it in me to do a genocide playthrough, but I find it very interesting (I wussed out and watched other people do it)I prefer apathetic Chara over psycho Chara. I mean I know it's
Like, the way the music breaks and changes when its clear what route you're going down... and the towns and shops are empty, I wish I could word it better but it's amazing stuff, very uncomfortable. Gave me goosebumps anyway. Maybe if I stop being a pansy someday I can try it myself.

I gotta say. Your drawing of Chara not only looks awesome and very unique from how I usually see them portrayed, but your stance on their personality is something I also find very interesting. Sure, it's canon with the ending that Chara is a freak, but it is true that other than that, Chara seems very quiet, stone-faced and doesn't seem to take glee in killing the monsters so much as just treating it like taking out the trash. At least, this is what your pic and my experience with the genocide run has made me believe is quite plausible. This is really cool. Thanks for sharing it.

ahhh yes thank you so much! this has made me really happy, i knew i wasn't the only one! Don't get me wrong, i love the kinda crazed side too, but this one doesn't have a lot of representation. That taking out the trash thing is perfect, I somehow find the quiet side more scary!

I agree. Both are cool, but almost because of it's lack of representation, I kind of lean towards this Chara more. Being openly bat shit crazy makes for a formidable adversary with all their energy and relentlessness, but I find there's just something about a cold psychopath that's even more unsettling. They act normal enough, albeit maybe aloof, but I just find it so intriguing when it comes down to the nitty gritty actions they take, rather than taking childish glee in the horrible things they do, they're actually fairly apathetic about it all, perhaps even a bit sly and disturbingly calm like it's just another day. I think it's both scarier and way more interesting.
I mean, take what we love about Sans. Not that he's over the top, but that he's strangely calm and collected in the most inappropriate times, giving us just a glimpse of what's under the surface before making us wonder if what we just saw really happened when he's back to "normal" joking around and such. It's a mind fuck, but it's awesome. XD
