Description
Quick description: Basically this guy goes around and "collects" old ghosts who are on the point of becoming revenants. They are suck into the spiral and transform into fumes that become part of the other world. From my story Ghost Town. There are more of this kind of creature going around the world. Never actually seen by humans, since they travel between spaces.
Yup. This is all water colour. Pretty good for a beginner water colour user aye? Hoping to experiment more with it too.

* It emits a strange but soft sound. The smoke mist from its back spreads about in swirls around and through you then vanished, like that of dancing flames. It backs away gently, then looks at the sky, as if searching for something.*

*looks at it concerned* Is something wrong?

* As the clouds cover the twilight sky, it casts a dark shadow over you and the creature. The beast, the kirin stars at you. Strange ghostly sounds and seemingly distant cries are heard, but you don't know were they are coming from. Cool air brush your skin. The kirin's eyes are locked on you, and yours to it. You suddenly notice the sky, and forest and earth around you are all fading into darkness. Everything, except you, and the kirin. *

*whispers* What's happening? *is trying not to panic*

* Total darkness. The kirin seems frozen. Still waiting. Its smoke the only thing moving, more fiercely now. Soon you begin to see things. The voices, and whispers turn into see through bodies of different colours of smokes. What is your reaction? They are completely ignoring you though, going anywhere as they please, up and under you. The kirin looks upwards again. There is no sky, yet you do the same. A bright white circle. Could it be a moon? Why haven't you noticed it before? As you look back down, a scenery sets in but in the most unusual way. Lines. Only white lines of silhouettes of objects, slowly appearing from the ground up. You have the impression of being in a colouring page, but with the black and white reverse. Only you, the kirin and the ghostly people are full. What scenery do these lines form? *

* The white lines form the forest clearing you were in moments ago.
You hear an eary whisper in your mind.
" Here it begins... ".
You look at the creature.
It seems more radiant than before the darkness fell. You feel a great sense of power emiting from it. Somehow, you know the voice is its.
" This is the place where ghosts roam trapped from your world." The voice began. " Where wishes, faith and imagination of all life lie. You came here the moment you believed in my existence. Yet ghosts are separated identities from this very world. In your world, they are invisible, and soundless to those who don't have the mind to believe. Now that you've seen them here, thus, you will most likely truly believe in them when and if you return to your world alive. They will be visible to you there then." *

** A ghost goes through you from behind, creating a pouf effect of green smoke, then travels away.
" This place is whatever you want it to be. But if you are incapable of controlling it, the revenants will come
to eat your soul. Your presence here has already created a wave of commotion. Right now, your body is on earth, as you call it, and your soul here is vulnerable. If a revenant catches you, your body will die, and your very existance will parish. The revenants grow stronger and gain more cautiousness the more they devour souls. They can be dangerous even to me, thus I will not save you. You must go back to your world on your own if you haven't the power to believe and create. " **
It's a world in between dimentions where beliefs comes from and lie. It's anything and everything you can imagine.
Ask questions to the kirin. It will answer. Maybe not for long though.

my, rather ominous and sacred lookign creature here. loving the color palette and use of the eyes on the blue skin, and the ornamental wings on head are rather impressive

Yes, I am quite proud of those wings. Thank you. My goal was to have that, as you you've mentioned, ominous and sacred ground, going along with the story's theme.

Wow, extremely cool. Very well-drawn; great colors, and great creature design. It's a beautiful image in general and the concept is nice. It actually looks like it might come out of Okami, although I think that's somewhat more to do with the style than the design itself. Well, style and subject matter.
