There's something I really like about your style. I have a hard time pinning it down though. Maybe it's the large contrast between your darks and lights.
I bet you used the smudge tool for that fur, right? Maybe I'll have to try that.

wow, i have to ask, how do you create something like this? like.. do you first paint it and then do some tweaks on photoshop? or what? hehe

I painted the background color of a character before. I use brush with sharp and rounded heads to paint. I just adjust the color of the picture a bit. The background I use a downloaded brush.sorry I'm not good at English.
