I saw a news about the new Ben 10 reboot on twitter a few days ago, and it got me thinking about the series again. I really love the original Ben 10 series. Then all the Ben 10 series after just sucks (in my opinion).

I hated that they made Gwen's "magic" actually just alien powers mana controlling thingy (basically just telephatic powers, a very dull and basic version at that) instead of real magic. I feel like they narrowed the series' potential storyline. Why would you do that? Imagine if they actually explore that.

What if there's other alien races who practices magic but with different ways to control it? Like how the western and eastern alchemy in Fullmetal Alchemist. What if there's an alien race who actually masters and understands magic which to them is just a part of science? Imagine putting Gwen in the middle of this, learning all this things and new ways to use her magic adding to her magic arsenal. It could've been epic.

They also made Kevin a good guy, which has potential IMO, maybe they can do a redemption story arc for Kevin, yknow, let him earn it, because he had done terrible things before. Maybe he experience something in the prison void with Vilgax. What if they both got out of the void, with the help from a mysterious powerful alien. And this alien tortured them both for information about the omnitrix. What if the alien strips all the aliens' DNA inside of Kevin and leaving him to die powerless.

So he have to survive by absorbing other weaker aliens' DNA to get their ability to help him survive (that should be his power, not absorbing materials or whatever that is they tried in Alien Force). So he learn how to collect and grow alien DNAs so that he could use to transform in battle. So now he has an arsenal of alien DNAs in a capsule-like tubes that he keeps in his utility belt to change parts of his body into any alien he wants. And he is on a mission to stop the alien that tortures him from getting the omnitrix because if there's anyone he hates more than Ben, is that alien.

ps: sorry for the wall of text its just my idea for a Ben 10 series, I feel like I want to get it out here. I would make this a continuation of the original first Ben 10 series.
