I must admit that I'm not a big Lady Gaga fan, but I do like how you drew her eyes! Very nice! However (now this is constructive criticism) the proportions of her face seem to be a big off on the left side of her face (our right). Just have to watch those proportions. The upward angle is a very nice composition, but one I personally find difficult to pull off. I feel the shading is a bit off, but without seeing the original pic you used, hard to say how to improve. The hair is very nicely done! You've captured the beautiful flow of it and nice details. Just need to add in some shading and contrasting tones to give it depth.

All in all, I think it's a nice piece. With a little more, I feel you'll end up having great pieces!

Wow! I like this composition with the colse cropped face and the tilt to the head. Great countenance of the face. I was going to remark about the range of values...how there are only dark and light values...but i assume that is the problem with the scanner that you referred to. I quit using my scanner and take digital photographs now. But scanner problems or not, it's still a really good piece of work!

wow the over all image is good, shading is brilliant. I do think the left eye is off a little and the point of the chin is in the wrong spot but it's great all togather!
