Description My first tablet drawing. Her sleeve is choped off because I'm an idiot. Inspired by Lady Gaga.
Is it good for the first timer?

Hey, sweety! This is really really good and promossing for a first tablet drawing! Trust me! I like it specifically because it is clean! Now....I know you are trying to render materials...and it is really good that you are learning how to draw them! But from what I have noticed looking around DA and from my personal experience, computer fashion sketches tend to look bit better and more realistic if you use textures, as in real images (photos) of fabrics. There are tons of them to download for free, I have a pretty big library myself and I find it very very useful. I suggest that you try that too and see if you like it! All you have to do is apply the texture and find the perfect blending mode and opacity for your purposes. You can do this whilst you keep practicing drawing the materials! Textures will give that extra realistic look to your sketches. And also....play a bit more with shadows and lights! Don't forget to establish your light source (left, right, top, bottom) and then work from there to add darks and lights, it will prevent your drawing from looking flat. Other than that....excellent job, darling: I'm very proud of you and your perseverance! You have passed the most difficult part: the beginning.....! Now you're on the right track! Keep it up! I will always stand by you!

Thanks for your comment. Materials and fabrics are still complicated to me. I try to draw them like they are. I can't make a simple sketch, I like it clean and realistic. I wanted to make it more simple but it came out to "ugly".
Yes, I was looking for different textures but I didn't find the right ones. I know how to apply them but I don't have any. If you know online library for fabrics, can you send me a link. Please. When I search for textures I don't know how they are called.
Shadows are my biggest problem, I know. It's hard for the first timer. I think.

New one will come soon.
Thank you for everything, sweety
I keep my fingers crossed for your Gaga's clothes
