If you ever felt like making one, I'd love to see a bit of a walkthrough of how you get this great textured look to your paintings. I find it a very interesting approach, with lovely results.

Mister-Yaoi is quite right actually..there's not much to it. Usually recycle older paintings by adding them as a soft light layer, makes for interesting colours and values. Then i add a normal layer, and paint over it for a bit. Re-add a random image on top etc etc etc...
Then in the end i try to find some nice rocky textures on google, or some rusty metals. Add them in as soft light/overlay, and you're done
Also managed to collect some cool brushes which create a nicely textured look

Ahh yes, that makes sense. Using photo textures is something I haven't really tried yet... Definitely something to play aroung with soon. Thanks for the explanation.
