There's multiple ways I could approach and answer your question though. I guess I'll risk rudeness and state the basic: pencil and watercolour; I did a rough sketch of a head, filled it in with watercolour (wet technique), then went back over with a pencil and made embellishments.

That face is creepy and I hope that means your affect was achieved. Awesome use of water color, and I like that you can still see the vines or the stems of the plants that make up the face.Β
