I dont really like how this came out, but I am choosing to be happy with it : PI cannot WAIT to see her in this state. SHE WILL BE UNSTOPPABLE!

This reminds me of an interesting discussion my friend had: Korra has yet tapped into the spiritual side of the bending-- much less the Avatar state. Furthermore, can you imagine what might happen if she accidentally triggered an uncontrolled Avatar State in a bustling urban world of Republic City? Mass destruction-- which can only further the agenda of Amon and the Equalists...
Artwise, I like your use of blocks of colors to create the shapes without lineart. It works quite well here. Critique-wise, her forearms and wrists in particular look a bit small. Nonetheless, nice work!

My brother and I thought maybe something might happen to Aangs statue if she goes into the Avatar State for defence, its just an ominous feeling we have. Or she may even injure one of her friends? Aang was gentle enough for Katara to bring him back, but what if she's just too out of control and ends up hurting Bolin or Mako? There are so many possibilities.

She's already pretty beastly! i was really glad and surprised to see the theme and contrast in characters of the new series.

I really hope so, as long as they don't make it too cliche and it turns into "avatar/teenagemutant ninja turtles dark knight variety hour" it should be fine lol
Too many good shows went the way of G.I joe.
Although this kinda has the feel of the X-men with the non benber population rising up, kinda leaves you wondering which group you should cheer for, especially since in even Avatar the last airbender there was mention of a none bender uprising in episodes like "avatar day" lol
