Our national flagship, the "Buque Escuela Simón Bolívar" was sailing away from the port of La Guaira, in the State of Vargas, on a journey that took her to ports in Brazil and Argentina in early 2009... soon I´ll be posting some more photographs

The "Simón Bolívar" is the only sailing ship in the Venezuelan Navy, as said she´s our flagship, and after coming back from each journey, the young sailors (seen in this photo wearing yellow, blue and red t-shirts) graduate from Naval Academy and begin their professional careers at the Venezuelan Navy
