What is it about?
A fanart contest with the characters of our manga project HEART OF WILDFIRE with the main theme of FIGHTING!
1st prize: 90$ USD or 36-Month Premium or 7200 points
2nd prize: 60$ USD or 24-Month Premium or 4800 points
3rd prize: 30$ USD or 12-Month Premium or 2400 points
A 3-Month Premium will be given to 5 entries as HONORABLE MENTIONS
NUMBER OF ENTRIES ALLOWED: NO LIMIT

held by *FallenAngelGM . I had to draw at least one of the characters from the manga project Heart of Wildfire. I decided to draw all the swordsmen, because i like swordsmen. So here are Mariciel, Sahn, Misaora, Tairo and Ryo.
Actually i really like the characters, they were really pleasant to draw, especially Tairo and Ryo, though i failed his hair (they are the two brown haired guys)
no i don't prefer Ryo, dont say this
I wanted to cross all their swords to begin with but i failed, as always :>
I had to "insert" the logo of HOW in the drawing, so i made it end the flam coming from the sword (and also as Tairo's brooch). I really had a lot of fun searching for pose references or trying to design their clothes.
I started this with Mariciel, then drew Sahn, Misaora, Tairo and then Ryo, i really think i improved during that time lol.
I used like 120 layers fdfkdgkd
I'm not totally satisfied by the background but i like the way i did the fire, so well...

c'est dynamique, fluide,et les flammes...elles sont super bien faite *o* j'aime beaucoup ce genre de dessin avec plusieurs personnage,qui est vraiment horrible a réaliser pour que cela ne soit pas trop charger >x<)°

rah ce genre de dessin est infernal, déjà il y a le sketch qui devient trés vite brouillon et le Lineart...quand tu a finit cela tu veux même pas entendre parler de la couleurs

La colo est super réussi, le feu est plutôt bien fait, et leurs poses sont dynamiques ~

Naaah ! Y'a de ces participations de ouf, je pense pouvoir arriver dans les 5 "honorable mentions" mais je pense que le top 3 est déjà pris xD

If You "failed" their hair, then what should I say... OTL You really did great job - clothes have interesting design (Mariciel and Ryo... <3), their poses looks natural and full of action (I hope You can write like that in English...? xD' Again, Ryo is my fav xD But Sahn looks good too~~ C: ) and You have original idea for hiding logo on picture (...I just paste it in photoshop... )
The only thing I don't like here very much is Misaora - I think her head is too big compared to rest of characters and even her own body 
Still, I like Your entry very much *^_^* I hope You will take part in next HOW contests too~~

Well about the logo i was about to put it as an accessory on each character, but then i had an illumination and put it with the fire (i really like how you integrated on hte shirt, though :0)
You're totally right about Misaora !! You just made me remember x0 (first of all i'm not totally fan of badass-ninja characters xD) i drew her face weirdly to begin with, but i was too lazy to redraw it ( ) so i just thought "i'll draw her body accordingly and then make her face smaller" but i got carried away by the other characters and forgot !! Should i fix this ? ^v^
I think i will, unless it's about genderbend xD Well, even if it is, i'll certainly try *3*
