Little Japaneses culture lesson. That dress it is wearing. Should only be tied in the front if she is a prostitute. Real women have friends/family tie the knot in the back. It is only tied in the front because prostitutes usually work alone, in which case they can't have someone tie it for them.
Very cool looking regardless.

Ahem... Kitsune here... allow me to explain. Kitsune simply means fox in japanese but the Japanese believed kitsune to be mystical. They are the messengers of Inari, Goddess of Rice and Fertility which why most kitsune are depicted as women. They are known to be shapeshifters and illusionists and on some occasions, possess elemental powers. These kitsune are also believed to have up to nine tails (which is where the pokemon originated). So think that each tail represents power and others believe age. In myths they are shown sometimes as companions and tricksters. If you help a kitsune, it's good luck and the fox will help you in return. To mess with a kitsune means certain rune wether in death, loss of wealth, or being driven crazy. Foxfire is coined from kitsune's ability to create light by rubbing their tails together. Any questions, just send me a message.
Animes with Kitsune:
Naruto
Hyper Police
Gold Diggers (comic)
YuYuHakushu
Inuyasha
On another note, AWESOME! But... why a cat tail. Kitsune are foxes.

Wow, thank you for the explanation. X3 I've always was curious about them. ;3
Yes, the cat tail. The character was originally going to be a cat, but when I drew the face, it looked like a kitsune mask...so I called it a kitsune. XD So I guess, technically, she isn't a kitsune....or maybe she is but it trying to trick you into thinking she is a cat.
Rawr. X3
And thank you. XD

Normally i know a lot about mythology and folklore.. But the only Japanese creatures I know about are kappas. What did kitsunes actually do anyway?
