(Except for the colours, they seem too bright, especially the skirt; but I guess you either did it on purpose or know it yourself. But it's all made up for by the mask, actually.)

The mask is actually a pair of sunglasses. I took a 12pack Pepsi box and taped together a basic face shake, smeared on Crayola model magic, carve out scars, painted it with acrylic paint, smeared a gold shiny paint on the lenses, and hot glued fabric over the mouth and forehead. It sat on my head like...well. Sunglasses.
The "gloves" is actually two pairs hot glued together. The navy blue with the fingers cut off, and tight black ones the fingers were sat on. Fingers were made out of a wire base, aluminum foil, model magic, more paint.
It was fun to make, but my hands were useless and everything was a yellow haze. xD

Yes, the eyes work. Did you get a good number of people who recognized you? Because I'd throw in a couple of orphans or harmless woodland creatures if I saw a Richard costume at a con.

The detail in the costume is so cool! Wish you had gone to Fanime that would have livened things up a lot! Especially during the masquerade (which failed epically)
