so a couple things i want to talk about~

i've been working on my nebuanny a lot, since last year I think, and though i loved them with all my heart they were a pain to draw
there's so many sketches that i've not uploaded because I wasn't 100% sure of their style
i wanted it to be something i just didnt enjoy drawing or probably didn't/don't have the skill for, which is why i tried drawing them as cheebs but it just didn't feel right
and that's a difficult thing to admit, because I love them so much and want to use them in the future, for a game I plan to make someday
but for now i'm going to retire them.

but but!
they will resurrect in this species, cherubomi~!
(or just chubs/cherubs)
everything is a work in progress but so far i really like them and have a very simple reference sheet that I only have to organize a bit before it can be called complete so I'll probably submit that in a couple of days after I finish commissions

this particular chub definitely won't be for sale anytime soon, ahah ; u; I love her too much
she is the love child of two very influential cherubomi, a socialite and a knight!
she's very good at what she does and is well meaning, but because of her past, can also be quite cruel.

her traits are:

* fauna & flora based whisp *
common - ears, tail
uncommon - heart eye pupils
rare - unicorn horn
rare - tier 3 wings, body wrap mutation
rare - heterochromia
(you can't see it here, but her other eye is very light pink and silver, almost white)
heavenly - hoof sparkle

a cherubomi's defining trait are the wings that grow from the chest! they can be quite small, or big enough to wrap around the entire body.
they can sprout from other places, like the legs, from the tummy, from the head, but all are non-functional and will not carry them anywhere. their size and behavior is similar to deer

the rose that trails after this cherubomi is her whisp (it used to be a pink star made of glass in her previous life, but she fell in battle)
when a cherubomi suffers too much damage or is overcome with a great deal of stress, they turn to what they are made of: star dust
the star dust is encapsulated in a container, the most common being made of glass
if the jar is taken to safety, in time, they eventually return to their everyday state.
but if the jar breaks and the dust scatters, this will be the end of the life cycle for the cherubomi.

additionally, the inside of the jar is like a vacuum!
if the jar is cracked, this can affect the cherubomi's resurrection process greatly
depending on the location where it broke, there can be mutations, different size shapes, and the most rare: growths

for example, if a cherubomi jar breaks in a field of roses, the scents, colors, shapes can affect the cherubomi and the whisp!
on rare occasions, even roses themselves can grow on the cherubomi body or on their antlers.

but this was more of a preview, i'll write up the entire thing more properly on the reference sheet soon-ish
as for the group, there's nothing to see so far but i've reserved the name here:
