Description TOMS Shoes; "With every pair you purchase, TOMS will give a pair of new shoes to a child in need. One for One." [link]

This is a template for TOMS Shoes. I've purchased a pair of natural canvas TOMS that I'm going to paint with this amazing under water setting, but from concept, this is not going to be any easy task and not something I want to go into without a plan. So I needed a template. Searching online left me with nothing, so the only solution was to make one myself.

It started out with trying to wrap printer paper around this oddly shaped, rounded object. Not the easiest thing to accomplish accurately, but accomplished just the same. From there, I thought a digital copy would be nice after I had already gone through all the trouble or creating the original template. I scanned the images into Illustrator, placed them accordingly, and created this template for use in designing a pair of TOMS Shoes.

The template was drawn from a pair of size 9 shoes. Image has been uploaded at the original size, scanned from the original hand traced images so should be extremely precise. Original image is available for download and measures 14in. high, with a width of 10in. This template is for the right shoe.

TOMS Shoes are the property of their Founder and Chief Shoe Giver, Blake Mycoskie. All rights belong to him and the TOMS Shoes company. [link]

That sounds great. You're both welcome! It's great to hear that it's use is being stretched beyond just personal use to be able to be used in an apparel class. Thank you for the feedback.

Thank you so much pbundy - I was about to start on my template this weekend. I will make sure that I attribute your work & the acknowledgement to the Tom's inventor Blake Mycoskie. I'll try to photograph my final project!

To be honest, this will help my apparel class be able to CONSTRUCT a similar shoe model as a mini project. Thank you for making this!

thanks so much for posting this! I'm in the process of reupholstering my TOMS and thought I'd check to see if there was a pattern already drafted up so I could save some time. =]

Hey. Just wanted to let you know that there's still not a template on the internet that I could find! (except for yours). Thanks for making my shoe-painting project a little easier ^^
