haha, there is much delightful party banter with Anders that made me a very happy fan! and there are LI-specific miniquests, but you have to wade through so many puzzles to get to them so I don't know the details yet. There's a bit too much Tallis for my liking, but all in all I think it was worth it!

To be completely fair/honest/so forth, I don't think ANDERS could resist any opportunity to plunk feathers on Anders, whatever the setting...

And for all the crap I've heard about the new DLC...it HAS inspired some pretty neat art. Like this. It can't be all bad.

I saw some of that on YouTube. Being transgender myself...I'm actually not as offended as I was told I should be. That stammering awkwardness is sort of how people tend to respond.

Hawke's response to Serendipity/Bran was about on par with his response to Merrill's trouble with her clan. "Sundermount is very mountainous" indeed. I'm beginning to think Hawke's just that awkward. Eh, unless you're the carefully polite diplomat or the extreme aggressor, that is. There was a lot of flak on YouTube about it, though. Serendipity, not Sundermount. That all got me wondering...what are all these probably properly gendered and probably heterosexual people complaining about? It isn't particularly bad, or insulting. Awkward Hawke just makes things more awkward and everyone else falls into Hawke's awkward whirlpool of doom, which is about what happens for the rest of the game.

THAT SAID... *deep breath/pant/wheeze* Sorry for spamming you like that when all I was really trying to say originally was that I like your art.

And this is why I play Awkward Hawke. It's kind of a self-insert.

Awkward starts with the letter 'a'... I should play a Hawke named Awkward! It suits the alphabet scheme...

Anyone trying that hard to be a complete smartass is probably compensating for something (I know I am). An overwhelming sense of social awkwardness, perhaps. Or perhaps, "If I'm a bombastically awkward smartass, they won't notice (I'm)/(my sister is) a mage!"

But your characters (at least the ones we meet here on DevArt) don't seem to have that problem. Either your diplomatic rogue or...well, Archibald, who I don't think has any issues with trying to be a smartass
