I am trying to learn what 'Showman's Engines' are... I presume traction engines used in an entertainment context? Β Fascinating image. Β Makes me think of Miyazaki and Disney's 'Pinocchio.'

In short;
The showmans engine I believe is one of the ultimate expressions of idealism through steam power. Β Technology is not a solution, The true purpose of technology in my mind is simply to make people happy and inspire them, with any practical purpose being served as only a pleasant sideeffect. Β The showmans engines were built to such an over the top artistic doctrine and standard, no two were the same, they were roving conduits of love and human connectivity, sort of like a rebirth of the romanticism movement in steam power while the rest of the world stayed Neoclassical. Β These engines move among very deep feelings and very deep magic. Β
I have always wanted a showmans engine, and recent events and conversations has rekindled my intense love for them and desire to steward and run one.

She is approximately 1.7 times the size of the largest showmans burrell ever built, and is four cylinder double expansion.
