Description Some more studies of the grand underground theatre of steam that has been in a couple of my stories. I might reverse the gigantic oaken arches so that the spars get thinner towards the top, to make the celestial printings on the upper wooden panels more visible. The airships you see hanging are models, quite large ones, the santos-dumont-esque rigid in the foreground is supposed to be a 20 foot live steam model. Gives you an idea of the size of the place.

Very cool idea. This makes a great setting for all kinds of "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen"-style storylines.

No problem. You know, this grand theatre of yours would be pretty awesome if it was ever made real!

In NYC? Oh, what a shame, I'd have to work up the courage to navigate my least favorite city in the world to go there. Dang.

you take the number zero train out of times square. you can tell it's the number zero train because it is a J1D hudson pulling a string of pullman coaches. this train is then routed down a disused tunnel which goes straight into the theatre hall itself
