Description Believe me I've tried to make this a summary. But it turns out to be a long essay.

Physical Appearance & Anatomy
Floofes have various color and patterns of their fur coat. These patterns range wide, from natural colors to unusual colors like blue, purple and green. Genetic lines don’t affect patterns, although newborns are born with their basic color (ex. black Floof with blue pattern was pure black when he/she was born).
They have round and fluffy body that suits them to roll down hills in their habitat. Because of their shape, they are bad runners, but they have a feature to cover that. Floofes’ hind paws have bouncy pad covered with fur which let them hop around and even reach high places easily.
Floofes have excellent eyesights and hearings, although this is balanced by poor sense of smell. This rarely a problem, since Floofes can identify their food by seeing them. They usually use their tail to have higher views of their surroundings.
Floofes have special fur which can turn into hard quills when they are startled or threatened, this ability of them is called quillifying. Some Floofes may jump on enemies and turn quillify mid-air to attack. They cannot quillify if their coat is wet, therefore, Floofes hates rain.

General Behavior
Floofes are naturally skittish and shy, they will run away at first sign of danger. However, when they’re cornered, they will fight back or quillify. They’re affectionate to each other as they live in groups. Tamed Floofes can be very cuddly and rarely quillify themselves.

Habitat & living
They lived in Forest hills and valleys, usually then the food source is available all year round. They live in group of 5-7 Floofes and they’re extremely protective to each other, especially newborns. They will never leave a member of a group alone and travel together everywhere. They usually lived on burrows left by other burrowing creatures. If they can't find a burrow they will look for some place protected from rain. An average Floof lifespan is around 10 years.

Diet
They lived on diet of fruits and berries, and sometimes small insect. Their favorites is sweet berries and fruits, though this is now very good for them as this makes the fat and less bouncy.

Sex & Breeding
There is no distinctive difference between males and females. One litter of Floofes consist of 3-5 pups. Pups cannot yet quillify so they depend on the group to protect them.

This is not an open species. Do not make your own. I make adoptables of this and you can simply adopt for points or get a custom.

I'm not selling these guys anymore. But my species is all open now, so you can make your own instead, as much as you can Just simply credit me as the species creator.

Wow, comprehensive!!!!

Although I'm a bit iffy about the bouncy pads and the theory behind the 'quillifying' (I'm bio major so I tend to know a lot.)

But good job.

Well that was something magical I created and I don't think much of it. But for sure those don't exist in our world. Thanks

There's that too. But somehow the realm of scientific sci-fi (whut? A pun?) always manages to sneak it's way to my creatures. lol. Being a full science major student does that to you.

lol, but that's nice. Well i said before they "hop around" then when i'm making this ref. I found out they don't have long hind legs that usually used to hop around.. so, well i just make something of my own

Well, you can always make the legs like rabbits, or cats. Ah well, the realm of fantasy knows no bounds. XD
