Description A pic from my trip to British Columbia back in November 2008. It was a cloudy day but some sunshine was able to poke through in Gibsons, British Columbia, making the front of the pic very bright while the mountains in the back remain darkened by the cloud cover.

For those of you that know of the show The Beachcombers it was shot in this area. Molly's Reach, the restaurant, is nearby where I took this shot. When we saw the man in the speedboat we were reminded of Relic, a character in the show that drove a similar boat.

We were only there for a few hours, but there probably are hotels on the water's edge there.

Usually all we see is the dock area and street scenes. Nice to see another perspective.
My brother lived there for a while and my sister was an extra in an episode or two.
