I sold one of my mermaids on eBay and the losing bidder asked me to make another mermaid for her.... This is the one I made just for her.Aurelia is a custom one of a kind seamaiden, about 33 inches long. Made of cloth, handpainted, embroidered and beaded by hand.

Sorry to be nosy, but what did you use inside the tail to make it posable? I started making cloth dolls this summer and my goal is to make mermaids, too.

nothing, sorry but that's just stuffing in there... the tail was designed sewn with the curve in it...

She's lovely. All the swirly bits on the ends of the fins really pull the water/mermaid theme together.
