If this followed the DC Mainstream Universe where Barbara was paralyzed and Jason got killed off, having Tim turned into Joker Junior would have been Batman's final straw to keep the Joker alive and therefore kill him brutally, like braking his neck...and his "one rule".

If Batman killed him, do you think he'd go on breaking that "one rule" over and over?

Iscreamer1 In reply to Paul-art [2014-12-28 20:18:51 +0000 UTC]

I think we would, he would be very overprotective of Tim (or he couldΒ just let him go with his father Jack Drake away from Gotham and the Robin mantle) and he would become just like Owlman: a violent vigilante. (Though he could spare a few lives like Catwoman and Talia al Ghul.)

Hmm maybe. I don't know about how accurate that Flash cartoon movie is but in that timeline, Bruce dies and his dad lives, becomes a gun wielding Batman. Β Maybe Batman would have gone that way too.

We couldn't do it legally, but then we remembered you always had a few spare kids hanging around. So we borrowed one...

He needed a little molding but of course what kid doesn't? And in time we came to love him as our own... Say hello, J.J.

(I swear to god I've watched this movie so many times I can recite every single line.)

This is so chilling... it really drives the point home, he was so /young,/ only a child!

;_;

Absolutely heartbreaking.

That aside, /wow,/ the level of detail on those clothes! I can't stop staring at those shoes, what shine!

This is so accurate to the real deal. I love your rendition of it and how he looks more like Ledger's Joker. Even the inward turn of the feet, you did it completely perfectly and made it your own. Love this.

On one hand, this is VERY well done. But, on the other hand, he looks like he's closer to five than 13-ish (which is what I think Tim's age was at the time). Still, gives me the chills! Kudos!

Paul-art In reply to Emperorsteele [2014-03-21 04:59:27 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, i realized this age thing afterwards haha. Β Can I ask what brought you to this? I noticed that this deviation got a lot of attention recently and I'm trying to figure out why. Thanks!

Emperorsteele In reply to Paul-art [2014-03-21 22:47:24 +0000 UTC]

I think it wound up on the second or third "main page" when the filter is set to "What's Hot". I click through the first few pages every day, saw it, clicked it, LIKED it!

If you're not aware, the more views and faves a piece gets, the higher it gets pushed until it hits the main page (when the "What's Hot" filter is applied, anyway). There's also the "newest" and "Undiscovered" filters, which work in different ways (Newest is an almost live stream of what's currently being uploaded, and "Undiscovered" I'm not 100% sure on. I think it looks at any piece with less than a certain number of views, compares it to the % of faves it gets, and features those so more people can see it)
