I know his hollow wasn't born like other hollows (after death, so hollows should be immortal. then agin, the shinigamis "kill" them? then again, you hear about bad people going to hell and some hollows dissappear after being cleaned of their mistakes like inoue's bro.)
ugh anyway, what I wanted to say is that with the the ulquoirra battle, his hollow took over. so apparently that made him alive again? o.O
