Description This is an Apophysis 2.04beta flame using julian-blur variations with a bit of the 'heart' added in the ''final transform''. Since the resulting heart was black, I used Photoshop to 'fill' the space with a red overlay to match the red of the ''feathers'' and then added a bit of bevel to give the 'heart' some dimension. Also added in Photoshop was the signature.

Wow! This is so pretty! It would make a great Valentine card! I also like very much how you explain the process you use to create the effects you do. It helps!

Early on when I first started posting fractals, I used to get a lot of questions about my works, so, I decided to add the info to my descriptions, which answered the most commonly asked questions. And, it gives other fractallers ideas that they can use, themselves.

That is very cool, that you do that! And yes, it does give others an idea of how to be more creative! It is very sweet of you to share your secrets! Some artists won't, and I understand and respect that too! Everyone wants to have unique "one-of-a-kind" submissions. I have been creating fractals for about 3 years now. I always wanted to be able to draw, always felt I should be able to look at something, then draw it. Not so, of course, but I never considered myself an 'artist'. Since joining a few sites, posting my fractals and flames, and some writings, I actually gained enough confidence to take those steps to get the art pencils, sketchpad and books to learn how to draw! Have done a couple of lessons too!
It is because of the generosity of spirit you exhibit that makes the difference to those of us who are struggling 'newbies'. You know, not totally green, but not established yet either!
Thanks again!

Glad to be of help.. I figured, that early on, others answered my questions and gave me help, it was just right to pass it on...

I guess I'm a firm believer in it....kinda like what goes around comes around... In my genealogy research I've gotten involved that way...lots of great people out there willing to help and I've just passed it on when able...

yes, my sister is very much into genealogy. Has been for years. She has been able to find parents for adopted children, and vice versa, when both parties were searching for each other. She was able to provide leads for two ladies, mother and daughter who had been separate for 60 years. You know how it is. You get queries with similar stories but from the perspective of each searcher and match up the circumstances and there you are!

Yes, I used to say that exact same phrase. Now I usually say "karma" . No one is an island. What we do effects others, and there is an accountability, a consequence to our actions. Positive and negative.

That's great that she's been able to connect those people. I guess I'm an on again-off again when I get into the genealogy. I kind of go in streaks. I should be keeping at it and get it finished one of these days.

Well, she does that too, on again and off again. Because she does other things as well, but it is more on, than off!
