I love these old homes. I wish there are still some to buy in Cebu City. It looks like most of these types of home are replaced with the cookie-cutter houses.

i also had a feeling of deja vu (but only on the second floor)
hey did ya know the houses had that kind of style of house so that they could store all their farm stuff and animals below (in the first floor) and since the floor of the second floor is made out of wooden bamboos, they could see clearly if there's someone stealing from them

My Dad lived in houses like these, when he was young.

Their probaby isn't that many like their used to be around in the Philippines. I only saw this one and maybe one or two others the whole month I was there.
