Comme toujours, la methode que tu utilises pour en arriver la m'interpelle. Des traces de rouges a levres bleues? Un tampon encreur? Mais peu importe la methode en fait. Ce qui compte, c'est qu'au fond, on ne voit plus que ce regard, droit, dur en dedans, mais comme mouille de larmes.Β

c'est un peu une image-femme qui se maquille avec du rouge a levre bleu, pour faire joli, mais elle sait tres bien que la joliesse n'a rien a voir, qu'elle n'est la que pour dΓ©tourner les regards du charbon pilΓ© qui lui tient lieu d'yeux. Β

i know exactly what you mean. i had the same reaction too, even before the grunge. in fact i think the texture helped me balance the disturbing effect of the gaze. by posing it in a suitable environment.
and also pretending a little that it was an artistic effect i was after and not the reality of what can happen inside.
i love the idea that photography can capture the infinity of what CAN be.
it reassure me , in fact. specially that i "investigate" it a little too often and i see a little too much of what i prefer not to see
