When I look at your self-portraits I can't help feeling you would have preferred an aquatic or at least semi-aquatic life.

now i do. what i prefer is when i lay on my back with my ears under water level. (this is taking your semi-aquatic expression to the limits of literal)
then if we want to talk about the symbolism of it, maybe i am preparing to the "adventure" of life in reverse. i'm now at the last stage, the amniotic phase.
unfortunately, in both ways, i never could learn to hold my breath under the water.

most difficult question.
till now i haven't been able to accept any-thing/place/one. but that have been only lately. lately as in the late years.
before i was such an adaptable person. and not only amphibious.

I was never adaptable. Maybe that makes it easier, I don't know better. Here's a story about me I love: when I went to nursery school, after a week or so they took me aside and explained to me that the idea was that I was supposed to learn to speak Dutch, and not for me to teach the entire school to speak English. Haha, I must be a natural-born teacher, somewhere deep inside!

Tout le contraire de l'autre: ce sont les yeux qui ont repris le pouvoir!
