Personally, I LOVE balloons!

This reminds me of DKC Returns, and how it justified the Extra Life Balloons. It makes more sense than 1-Up Mushrooms/Hearts/3-Up Moons will any day, and easily fits in with the magical whimsy of the Mario series (If one can hold an 800 lb. gorilla, then they can lift just about anyone!).
Nice job! Luigi doesn't feel too good (Bowser's trolling w/the Koopa Clown Car!)...
