Longing for nostalgia, Aetzend is a quiet person that wishes to help people like people used to. He wants to keep people healthy so they can live to their full potential. He's incredibly despondent, feeling that no ammount of work and effort can make him a better person, but he tries regardless. (If he can heal people who are better, then they can make the world a better place.) He lacks the bravery to fight a vampire head on or harm a person head on, but if he can use cunning or his wits, then he might be able to survive. He has a passion for comradery and believes in encouraging harmony within the team for the sake of overcoming obstacles. Together, there is nothing humans cannot accomplish.

History:

2011 was a stressful time in Aetzend's family, his mother and father spent most of their time at the hospital with his older sister. She was sickly and his father worked on a military base while his mother stayed in the hospital with his sister. He went with her -- unwillingly -- to keep his mother company as his sister lay sick in bed. He didn't bother to ask what she was sick with nor did he care. He hated the hospital. The dreadful quiet and the never-ending mourning of the people within the hospital wasting their time. He spent time with his mother in the chapel as she prayed for something to happen. Aetzend loved the chapel... Not because he felt any sort of religious pull, but because of how hopeful everyone inside was. As time passed, he spent less and less time in his sister's room and more in the chapel. Quiet music, new mothers and hopeful couples would come into the chapel to whisper prayers into their hands. After what had been a year and some odd days in the hospital, he decided to pray himself.

"Please... I don't want to spend one more day here."

There were screams of terror from children everywhere in the hospital as the virus struck on the hospital. Aetzend crashed through the hospital, bounding over bodies as he came to them and hopped over the bloody puddles. He skidded to a halt in front of his sister's room, but his mother was already lying on the floor. All the doctors were dead? A nurse was also on the floor and his sister was still sleeping peacefully. They were dying... All the adults were dying? What about... all the patients?

Aetzend went through the hospital, gathering other children that were waiting for their parents to get better and pulled them down into the chapel. There were babies... A lot of babies and kids in the hospital to take care of. That was enough trouble before the vampires came... All of that is black... Hiding away, amongst shelves of broken chemicals bottles as he breathed in the pungent air. That was a memory of feeling safe... They couldn't smell him here. And what happened to the other kids? How should a coward know....
