There are many things in this work that give expression...the posture, the tilt of the head, but especially the eyes. Very nice work with the focus on the face. Love the part in her hair.

I started drawing a couple days so i have a newfound appreciation for different mediums, and i gotta tell you, this is just amazing. I heard you had an art site too, aside from your photo, but never got to it until recently, and wow, you're just so talented, in photography adn this, and painting, and just everything, you're really an amazing artist. I envy you! Good god, you're amazing!

uauu gracias!! la verdad a mi tampoco me gustan los dibujos realistas, digamos que no me interesa copiar exacto la realidad (para eso está mi cámara de fotos)... pero este me gustó hacerlo porque creo que la textura del lápiz lo hace distinto, si fuera esfumado (técnica que detesto) entonces no tendría gracia (al menos para mí)

si, lograste muy bien los valores por medio de las texturas. Yo no domino muy bien esa tecnica, soy mas de definir valores por modulacion de linea o el esfumado.

(jeje la verdad es que yo soy un desastre tanto con la modulacion de linea como con el esfumado. pero diciendo que no lo uso por elección propia suena más profesional, pero no lo comentes eh

gracias!!!! como creo haber dicho pero nunca me canso de repetir, las expresiones siempre fueron (y siguen siendo ) mi punto débil... tengo taantos dibujos que los personajes parecen estar mirando al infinito en estado de enajenación

great. simply gorgeous, especially for a first try but then i dont really think this is a first try bcuz all of your paintings are incredibly realistic...neways great job on the expression and very very nice job on the shading. you never cease to amaze me ^^

actually i thinks the girl in my drawing looks sadder (more sad?) than the one in the picture... i think i reflected my own feelings in the drawing (i was not having a good day yesterday)...
