i feel no much connection with this painting, i started it years ago...literally. i started it on march 2004.
i hadn't paint anything for months now and today just was in the mood for painting, i wanted to start something new but this one was kinda bothering me (i brought it from argentina to bolivia with the only intention to finish it for once) and decided to get finally rid of it.
originally it was meant to be a gift, i don't remember for whom though.
anyway. i don't really like it very much, except for the eyes, which make me feel really proud.
and oh, one brush died on the process. a requiem for my "hobby nº 2". R.I.P.
after a pic i sure have among my favourites. thanks for the patience to all those who are watching me just because of my one-a-year acrylic painting, and yeah, hope you like it.

los ojos están increíbles, es cierto, pero el resto del cuadro no se queda muy atrás que digamos

los ojos me gustan porque me salieron sin que yo lo quisiera específicamente. es decir, entré a pintarlos y en un momento me di cuenta de que estaban en su punto exacto... no busqué el efecto, salió en el camino, y me gustó como quedó... el resto es como que siento que le falta, por eso no me gusta, como que lo pinté y repinté pero no me termina de convencer... en cambio los ojos no podrían estar mejor...
