Wow! I don't know how, but I only just discovered this. And it. is. SPECTACULAR.
He's...he's actually quite a handsome fellow, isn't he? The Necromancer is one of my favorite classes in DII, but most fanart of him is sort of old and gnarled and rough (and scary). I really like how young you've portrayed him - all great Necromancers have to start somewhere, right? He's intense looking, but non-threatening. I like him out of armor too. I know there's no identifying thing that says "necromancer" but I like that he's sort of just a regular person outside of battle. And I'm really impressed that you got such a naturalistic end result with no reference; it must have taken a lot of practice to hone that skill. But, I think what I like most of all, is this how closely this matches how I imagine him in my head. Really just superb!
Anywho, just wanted to let you know that this is quite beautiful and I think I'm just going to have to favorite this one too.

well, one is to portray a character from a game simply because you have to illustrate that game and another to get under its skin and try to actually see how that person would be in real life. i made countless depictions like this one and in text/stories too

But, you know, lips looks like they painted with lipstick. Even the form is OK, but...may be you'd better make'em more pale.
