This is brilliant. I liked the backstory for them, but I did realize ahead of time they where related due to lines like 'Thank you for taking care of my assistant" and "I just wanted to teach the old man a lesson." After the metaknighmare/true arena, I feel even worse for Taranza ow, ow, poor spider, it even carries over into kirbteam deluxe. Speculation about Susie and the Haltmann is very interesting, and your comics make it so much better to boot!...........still crying over the spider though...now I can feel over the new corporate daughter too. I am REALLY hoping Marx is next in line for a bonus boss battle. The little nova and Star dream at the end is very clever too. SO GOOD!

The things they said were a little different in german, eg Susie didn't say "the old man", she said "this cruel person" instead and I think Haltmann said something like "I hope my assistant didn't bother you"...Soo I didn't see it coming xD

Honestly, I don't think it was that good. The whole "Susie being his deceased daughter" thing wasn't brought up till the very end, without proper buildup, and it felt so forced and contrived because of that. Besides, modifying a Nova all to wish her back, why couldn't he just clone her like he did DeDeDe, or just activate the Star Fountains, he didn't have to go through all of that, there were easier less-destructive ways at his disposal.
Honestly, I'd prefer those other villain's motives, unlike Haltmann and Susie which was soΒ forced and contrived all for the sake of being tragic.
And Star Dream. It wanted to kill all life for the purpose of Prosperity?! Like what? Funnybot in South Park did that better! That whole thing of "Supercomputer wants to kill all life" is so generic and clichΓ©, and here the reasons aren't even that good either.
And Kirby sucking up the Halberd? Last time I checked, Kirby even in the Robobot Armor cannot suck up things that big. And the Giga Drill Breaker thing at the end, the Robobot Armor was not shown to be able to do that, it just does it out of the blue, and the whole ending was just a big Deus Ex Machina that was done just to throw in a Gurren Lagann reference or something like that, to be in-trend and pander to mecha anime fans and what not.
Sorry, but I'm not impressed by Angel Screw. This was not a very good Kirby Game, and the backstory was so forced and not good. I'd take the typical villains here over the forced "Feel Sorry For The Money-Grubbing President" stuck in at the last moment stuff.

Well, I wouldn't want a clone of my deceased child, also, after that it would most likely go the same as with Astro boy; even the battle description in game noticed that the clones aren't perfect and that the original personality can't be copied.
Besides, Haltmann doesn't remember Susie anyway. He suffered from memory loss because of his connection to Star dream which he used to control the machine. That means even if he modified it to get Susie back at some point, he did it only for prosperity later on and that is what Star Dream took over.
Anyway, I don't want to convince you otherwise, I see that you didn't like the game that much and that's okay
I really liked it because the relationship between Susie and Haltmann came as a surprise for me and I thought it was a lot of fun to speculate how all of this happened in the first place and what made the two of them become the people they are in the game. Also, a reappearance of a Nova of sorts and a connection to technologies which were shown in earlier Kirby games- why not ^q^ That way the game had much to explore. Personally I didn't see the backstory as forced, but that's only my opinion. :3
