Overall, it's a very good piece of yours, and one of your better deviations. It looked sad at first, but when I looked again I noticed that it actually looked hopeful! The only thing that may need a tad bit of working on would be the grass.
The image itself is very nice, though. I can't see anything that really needs to be critiqued. The shading technique used was interesting to see on the person in the deviation, too. I can't really complain about it! Maybe a little too light when the image itself is dark and highlighting would be a bit odd in this situation, but you've done a good job.

those were the two things that irritated me throughout drawing the picture-thank you so much for the lovely critique! I think grass is just one of those things that take so long to do, and i need to spend the time to do so if i want an good overall image xD
I'm glad you saw it was hopeful<3 It's what happens to me when i see a flower, thus Iris holding one.
It looked a LOT better without any highlights xD And i guess because it's night there WOULD be less shading, right? D: So I'll change that if i can be bothered ||D
