I remember this was fun to draw. Blaziken was my first ever pokémon in the actual games (my first game was Ruby) and I do like it's design.Fun fact, I only found out that blaziken have those spurs on their legs when I looked for the game sprites online for reference for this picture. They weren't visible on the Ruby's sprites so I never knew they existed before.

I don't feel so strange for Sapphire being MY first Pokemon game. I chose Sceptile, though... but Blaziken and its pre-evolutions always have a special place in my heart as rivals. xD

Awesome Blaziken. It was also my first pokemon when I played Ruby. It was hard to believe that something so small like Torchik (I don't remember how you spell it correctly) could change into super effective Blaziken.
I love Blaziken's pose and the background, which gives nice effect of fast motion into the picture. Only small negative thing is Blaziken's mane which seems to disappear into background because it is so similar colored with background. : )
