it begins. well, technically it started in the prologue but asdf OK SO UH RULES:

Rules

1) Once a pokemon faints, it’s dead. Deposit them into the graveyard (boxes 7-12)

2) Catch the first pokemon you encounter in a new route/area.
          2a) Concerning Dupes and Evolution Lines: You may not catch a pokemon      that falls under one of those two categories if you already have one unless said pokemon is dead. If your pokemon is alive at the time of the encounter, you get three more chances.
          2b) Gift Pokemon are accepted, and do not count towards the one capture!
          2c) If you really want to, only get ONE (1) Pokemon from the Game Corner

3) All caught/received Pokemon get nicknames!

4) The only glitches you’re allowed to perform are the following:
          - Mew Glitch
          - Missingno. Glitch
