I thought it was about time I'd submit something again ^^Where this drawing came from, I have no idea, but I'm very proud of it. I've tried to make another drawing like this, and failed hopelessly. It was pretty much shading and it didn't turn out well here and there, but the hair still inspires me.
She's underwater, in the ocean. It was supposed to be a mermaid, but instead of a tale I gave her some flowy dress thingy.

This is really terrific. I love the shading, and her elaborate hair really flows. But, I would really, really love to see this colored. In blues, greens, and maybe some purple. (I definitely would like to see that hair in varying hues of blue and green.) Nice!!

the expression in her face is also very good,but you might want to consider putting a bit more contrast into the shading in her dress...just a thought

it would be nice if the lines on her hair were a little sharper.. but then again, this way really draws attention to her face... love the long beautiful hair

I love the flowing feeling as if she is dancing to a siren's song. Caught up in its intesity that she has forgotten where she was at that moment in time as her hair grows longer and longer thoguh she fails to age like any type of fairy tail story. Trapped in an immortality of dancing.
I did read your thing about her being in the sea, I just couldn't resist though the hair and the movment of the picture came out beautifully. The motion and the expression on her face hel pto build a story in itself which I love to find in pictures when the artist tells a story with body langages and gestures. It always gives a great feel of letting the world know they care that much about the character. Awesome job with this picture.

it's truly a sweet pic, it would've been even better in a soft blue, or some different blue tones not only pencil (still not colored as usual, but just in blue more than in grey)

Flowy dresses are so beautiful, and I think you've captured that in this picture. I love the way her hair is so long and thin, and I think that makes the whole picture stand out. It's like you're actually standing underwater and looking at her, if that makes sense. You're right, she is very insperational!!

im doing fairly well to say the least, life's been soooo busy that i havent the time to draw anymore except for a few angel doodles and a few poems...
