what? Could it be?! A BACKGROUND???~Frosted-Monster is great at backgrounds and I stole inspiration from her whoops.
So I adopted this guy off ~SparrowWrightheart a fair while ago here ->
because you know I love dragons with multiple eyes and hey extra limbs are pretty rad.
And the more I thought about this guy’s design the more excited I got to draw him???
I’m currently making a reference sheet for him because I know I’ll be drawing him a hella lot.
I’m also not going to put info here because I’m still working out his backstory, which you’ll find out soon!
He gave me a sort of dark mage feel I guess? Black magic is right up his alley yo.

AND THE GRASS???? THAT SHADING IS REALLY WELL DONE AND BELIEVABLE.
As for the trees can i offer a little bit of critique? The use of a custom brush is really good! But next time maybe switch it up with some different shapes of trees just to break it up a little, also they should generally become a lot darker towards the back, with only small highlights causes by the light from the moon. So next time just kind of flip it a bit, darker trees in the background that get lighter as they get closer (if the light source is similar to the one in this image), and if you're afraid of the trees colours becoming too similar to the grass, just change one of them to have more yellow tones or other natural colours idfk! Also it can also help if you go into the add some leafy lines/textures to the trees with even more shading so the brushes dont look so flaT I DONT EVEN KNOW WHAT IM GOING ON ABOUT DONT EVEN LISTEN TO ME IM SORRY ILL GO NOW BYE
